Accommodation

The property is accessed via a long sweeping gravel driveway leading behind the loft to a private parking area sufficient for 2 cars. There are external lights on sensors to ensure that this area, the pathways and staircase are well lit and can be accessed safely.

Hafan has been fitted to a luxurious standard with traditional features such as oak beams and doors and high ceilings to give a sense of space and calm.

In the private landscaped garden is a Jacuzzi (TM) hot tub under the fairy lit pergola. (No waiting for a wood fired tub to heat up!) With deckchairs, garden furniture and BBQ you can enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars in the landscaped garden.

Please Note

The owners live near the hay loft but respect guests privacy. Access is via a key safe. Hosts aim to briefly check in with guests soon after arrival to ensure they are happy, but thereafter will respect their privacy. For safety and hygiene reasons it is a legal requirement that the hot tub is checked daily throughout the stay, but the hosts will try not to disturb the guests.

We do not currently have any EVC facilities. Guests are not permitted to use the properties electricity supply to recharge a vehicle as it invalidates  insurance and is a potential fire risk. There are however various charging points in Hay, Brecon, Talgarth and the surrounding area.

  • This loft it is on the first floor and accessed via an external staircase. It is therefore not suitable for guests with limited mobility or impaired vision
  • Free wood and starter fuel is provided sufficient for 1-2 fires. Afterwards wood can be purchased locally or from the owners
  • Charcoal provided for 1-2 BBQ’s
