Fabulous host. Hafan is a special place. We loved our time there, beautifully styled with everything you need. Cosy nights in front of the wood burner and a starlight night whilst in the hot tub. Just magical. Perfect location to explore the Black Mountains. A visit to the four waterfalls walk in Brecon was worth the drive, breathtaking! A long weekend totally immersed in nature. Our stay at Hafan was wonderful! The property was spotless, peaceful and private. The log fire is a fantastic addition to Hafan, especially during the cold winter evenings. The free basket of fuel was a nice touch and much appreciated, the burner did a brilliant job making Hafan incredibly cozy and comfortable. The location was beautiful, nice and close to Hay on Wye. Also a reasonable distance from the Brecon Beacons for some lovely walking. Louise our host was fantastic! Nothing was too much for her, from local recommendations to instructions about Hafan, everything was correct to the T. If Louise recommends the Foyles of Glasbury (for dinner) to anybody, listen to her, it was a lovely evening out for me and my fiancé! We would recommend Hafan to anybody!

Louise was a wonderful host, very proactive with local recommendations, and suggestions of things to do. The property was perfectly clean and well equipped, which made for a very comfortable stay. The location is beautiful and a short drive into Hay-On-Wye.

We had the most amazing two night stay, Louise was very informative and provided us with useful instructions on how to find them. Everything exceeded our expectations, it was very clean and we had our own privacy which was respected throughout our stay. The views whilst relaxing in the hot tub were out of this world. The log fire added to the very cosy and relaxing vibe. I’m very keen to return and I would highly recommend.
