Spent the weekend here for my boyfriend’s birthday & it didn’t disappoint! Located in the peaceful countryside, the retreat was absolutely gorgeous with everything you needed to make it feel like home from home. Louise was extremely helpful both prior to arriving & during our stay, providing plenty of recommendations for places to eat and ensuring our stay was completely faultless - we were even given some of her chicken’s eggs to have for breakfast which were delish! We hiked up Pen Y Fan on the Saturday which was only a 30 minute drive away, so despite the quiet location you’re still so close to plenty of towns & things to do, places to visit etc. Everything inside the retreat was absolutely spotless, bed was very comfortable & it felt so cosy inside on the evenings. Would highly recommend & would love to visit again!

Louise's place is really special. The setting is stunning with beautiful views. We did a couple of great walks right from the doorstep. The location is perfect for walks, cycling, canoeing or just relaxing! Louise was very welcoming and we appreciated the biscuits, eggs, milk and daffodils 😊 The accommodation is extremely peaceful and beautifully decorated. We felt very comfortable, with everything we needed. The jacuzzi area is little private haven. Everything about this accommodation has been carefully thought about and is beautifully presented and cared for. Louise provides comprehensive information about the accommodation and facilities in the local area. We highly recommend and would love to return.

Beyond fabulous! LOVED every aspect of the interior of Hafan and we didn’t want to leave. So many lovely little surprises to (I won’t ruin them) but so many little details that made the stay even more magical. We would happily return every year, felt completely at home and Louise was so lovely and extremely accommodating.

Hafan is a peaceful and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Highlight has to be the evenings spent in the hot-tub stargazing into a clear cloud free nights sky…..bliss!! Louise was a fantastic host, very friendly, accommodating with great communication from start to finish. Great choice of, and quality food at a local restaurant called Foyles, which is a 5 minute drive away from Hafan…..highly recommended. Surrounding walks a great, with a walk up onto the near-by The Begwns offering breathtaking views of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.
